Shelter is a basic human need. People deserve to live in safe, clean homes. Unfortunately, conditions most of us take for granted are out of reach for some Americans — including many people in our immediate area.
As a society, we have decided to aid those folks through public initiatives. For many years, the government has used some of our tax dollars to help struggling families access adequate, affordable housing.
