Boeing would build Air Force T-X training aircraft in St Louis
Boeing will build the Air Force’s new training aircraft in St. Louis, Mo., should it win the contract later this year, the company announced Monday.
The new factory for the Air Force’s T-X training program will support 1,800 “direct and indirect positions” in the region, according to the Boeing statement.
“I’m proud that Boeing has trust in the highly skilled workforce in my district, and I look forward to the economic opportunity these jobs will bring for our community and the Missouri supply chain,” Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) said in the release.
