Booker: Too early to revoke Kushner’s security clearance
Sen Cory Booker (D-N.J.) said that it’s too soon to revoke White House adviser Jared Kushner’s security clearance.
Booker said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday there should be a full investigation into a report that Trump’s son-in-law tried to set up a direct backchannel of communication between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin.
When CNN’s Dana Bash asked Booker if he was joining the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in its call to revoke Kushner’s clearance, he said an investigation needs to take place first.
