Butterfield, Jones say House needs to start anew on health care

Pitt County’s two congressmen say that congressional leaders should abandon current efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and begin work on new legislation.
The comments of Republican Rep. Walter B. Jones Jr. of Farmville and Democrat Rep. G.K. Butterfield of Wilson came as The White House insisted a vote would happen this morning, but with opposition flowing from both strongly conservative and moderate-leaning GOP lawmakers, that was far from assured.
