Election race heating up for Michigan’s 11th Congressional District seat
Interest is growing in the soon to be vacant 11th Congressional District seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Dave Trott.
The two-term U.S. representative announced last week he will not be running for reelection in 2018. Since that point, two Republicans have committed to run. Two democrats are already campaigning for this seat including Haley Stevens of Rochester Hills and Fayrouz Saad of Northville.
Southfield businesswoman Lena Epstein, who was previously running the U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow, switched up her campaign and announced Monday she would be running for U.S. representative.
