FLINT, MI — Five members of Michigan’s Congressional delegation are asking the House Committee on Appropriations for additional funding for programs they say are needed in Flint to deal with the aftermath of the city’s water crisis.
In a letter to the chairman and ranking member of the committee Monday, April 10, U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee, D-Flint, and four other Democratic members of Congress — Debbie Dingell, Sander Levin, Brenda Lawrence and John Conyers Jr. — made the request.
