Hello Friends of our Caribbean, African and American Community,
Greetings to you and your associates.
The next Caribbean & African Faith and Civic Leadership Conference (CAFBLC) will be held from September 20th to 24th during the 47th Annual Leadership Conference (ALC) of Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation in Washington DC. We are asking all African, and Caribbean, local and international: religious and civic leaders, diplomats, business professionals, community stake holders and international university/college student leaders to start registering from now to September 10th, 2017. Our website will be uploaded with further details in the near future. All delegates are required to participate and support the activities of the ALC and attend the African Braintrust Event hosted by Congresswoman Karen Bass, the Faith Leaders Round Table Hosted Congressman Elijah Cummings, the Annual Prayer Breakfast, CAFBLC Intergovernment Forum and Awards among other policy forums and special events.
If you are travelling from Africa, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, Asia or other parts of the world, you need to register early in order to obtain the proff of registration and letter to the United States Embassy or port of entry when entering the United States.
(no ducuments can be obtained without complete non-refundable registration.

Thursday 8:00am -10am attend CBC Annual Legislative Leadership (ALC) policy sessions of choice (optional)
Delegates may also register, collect CBC Badge and visit exibition sites and network and attend free events at the convention center. Otherwise you may travel to Washington DC check in hotel, relax and prepare for Friday. CAFBLC is trying to secure a briefing with the White House Office of Public Engagement for Thursday afternoon. Delegates will be informed if this meeting is scheduled.
Friday 8:00am -10:00am Faith, Diplomacy & International Affairs at the US Department of State Office of Religious and Global Affairs. 10:30:00 to 11:00am brunch/lunch
11:30pm- 3:00pm Africans braintrust forums on economic development and governance hosted by Congresswoman Karen Bass.
You may also attend policy sessions of choice until 5:00pm in the convention center.
8:00pm to 1:00am, Congressional receptions and special events via special invitations from congress members -to Cafblc Delegates.
Saturday -(All events are mandatory) 6:00am-10:00 am CBC Prayer Breakfast -over 4,000 in attendance annually, 11:00am to 1:00pm Faith Leaders roundtable & brunch hosted by Congressman Elijah Cummings, 1:30pm-5:00pm Africans/Caribbean Faith & Civic Leaders Townhall hosted by CAFBLC from 8:pm to 12:00am International Leadership Awards Gala.
