GA official will face a ‘public reprimand’ for calling Rep. John Lewis a ‘racist pig’

On Tuesday night a Georgia county commission voted to publicly reprimand one of its members for calling civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis a “racist pig.”
In doing so, the Gwinnett County Commission accepted the recommendation of the county’s ethics board, which met earlier this month on the complaint filed against commissioner Tommy Hunter, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Lewis has been accused of race-baiting in recent years, and Hunter made his comment against the congressman on his Facebook page. The post also referred to Democrats as “demoncrats” and “idiots.” The …
