Holmes school officials attend FSBA advocacy event

TALLAHASSEE – Holmes County was well represented school board officials gathered in Tallahassee last week to advocate for Florida’s school districts.
Holmes County School Superintendent Terry Mears and school board members Wilburn Baker, Sid Johnson, Alan Justice, Rusty Williams, and Shirley Owens joined more than 130 school board members, district superintendents, and other education leaders in Tallahassee March 29-31, to participate in the Florida School Boards Association’s 30th annual Day in the Legislature Conference and Board of Directors’ meeting.
