Kinzinger helps form caucus on Syria conflict
Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger is seeking more discussion, education and advancement of policy in Congress on the conflict in Syria.
He, along with Democratic Rep. Brendan Boyle of Pennsylvania, created the Friends of a Free, Stable and Democratic Syria Caucus.
The caucus has 15 members. The idea is for congress members to come together to advance national and international efforts to bring justice and accountability to Syria, according to a press statement. Kinzinger said he would like to help colleagues understand the complex situation on the ground in Syria and figure out ways to bring peace to the nation.
