Jim Moodie, a Postmedia writer from The Sudbury Star, recently wrote an article on a man named George Lovie who is seeking to visit his aging and ailing father here in Peterborough. He has been granted a one-day, escorted pass to do so.
Mr. Lovie has been incarcerated since 1991 when he was convicted of murdering Arnold and Donna Edwards, a sad, brutal and tragic event.
