MacArthur remains committed to reaching across the aisle
I am writing in response to a letter to the editor (April 21) titled, “MacArthur is no moderate.” Unfortunately, the writer has decided to misrepresent the facts about my record in Congress.
I went to Congress to solve problems, and I have always been willing to reach across the aisle. In fact, I was recently named among the top 15 percent most bipartisan members of Congress by the Lugar Center, a nonpartisan organization “committed to advancing positive solutions and fostering bipartisan dialogue.”
