Mich. lawmakers largely back Trump airstrikes

Washington — Michigan’s congressional lawmakers largely support President Donald Trump’s targeted airstrike after the Syrian government’s use of chemical weapons, but several members want Trump to work with Congress on strategy if he plans further U.S. military involvement in Syria’s 7-year-old civil war.
Some said they expect Trump to seek a congressional declaration of war if he wants to expand military action there.
