Minnesota lawmakers share their wish lists for rest of 2017
WASHINGTON – Every Minnesota lawmaker has a wish list.
Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison wants to change the way rating agencies assign credit scores. His bipartisan Credit Access and Inclusion Act would make it easier for people who work and pay their bills to establish a credit score by requiring agencies to take into account things like timely rent and utility payments when assigning a credit score.
“Unfortunately, much of my work this year will focus on stopping bad things from happening and organizing at the grass roots,” Ellison said.
