WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today reported that with the addition of four cosponsors—Representatives Joe Kennedy III (D-MA), Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH), Doris Matsui (D-CA) and Mike Thompson (D-CA)—her bill to make the District of Columbia the 51st state has now attracted cosponsorship by over 75 percent (146) of the House Democratic Caucus.  Norton has continued to build support for her Washington, D.C.
