Ohio lawmakers offer cautious reaction to Trump-Russia reports

WASHINGTON — Ohio lawmakers said Tuesday they’re hoping for more information about reports that President Donald Trump shared classified information with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador last week, saying if the accounts are accurate, the matter should be taken seriously.
“We need to know what happened, and the president and the White House need to give a full explanation on this latest incident,” said Rep. Pat Tiberi, R-Genoa Township.
Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, said “if the reports in The Washington Post are accurate, then I’d be concerned.”
