Train passengers offload onto Watsessing Avenue after a pedestrian was struck

BLOOMFIELD, NJ- Shortly after 915am, a pedestrian was struck by a NJ Transit train at the Watsessing Avenue train station.  The details surrounding the incident as well as the condition of the pedestrian are not known at this point.  NJ Transit has announced that service on the Montclair-Boonton line has been suspended in both directions between Bay St and Newark Broad Street at this time.  TAPinto will update the story as more information is received.
