POLITICAL NOTEBOOK: Loganville officials back Kemp in governor’s race
The mayor and one city councilman from Loganville lined up their support this past week for Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s bid to be Georgia’s next governor.
Loganville Mayor Dan Curry and City Councilman Rey Martinez were among nearly 50 mayors and city councilmen from around Georgia whose endorsements for Kemp were announced Wednesday.
They join former Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Wayne Hill as some of Kemp’s most high-profile supporters with elected office experience in Gwinnett.
