Politicians, officials back appointment of MaryAnn Black to fill N.C. House seat vacated by Larry Hall
DURHAM — Local, state and national politicians are supporting the Durham County Democratic Party’s choice of MaryAnn Black to fill the remainder of the term of the District 29 state House seat vacated by N.C. Rep. Larry Hall, D-Durham.
Black is associate vice president of community affairs for Duke Health and chair of Durham Technical Community College’s board of trustees.
