Reports Of Machines Flipping Votes Being Investigated

The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office is investigating reports of voting machines “flipping” the presidential choices of voters. Clayton, Cobb and DeKalb Counties in metro Atlanta, are among 11 where such incidents are being scrutinized. The other counties are Coweta, Macon-Bibb, Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Dodge, and Effingham. Election officials are quoted as saying the malfunctions could be due to “a calibration issue involving the touch screen.” Early voting ends Friday. The election is on Tuesday.
