Special Forces Soldier Killed In Niger Remembered For His Devotion To Learning

During a life cut short by war, Staff Sgt. Bryan Christopher Black lived as much as any man could.
He was a Green Beret, medic, father, son, husband, chess master, cigar aficionado, coffee connoisseur, and master of many skills – including poker, carpentry, stock trading and martial arts.
But most of all, Black, 35, was a man who never settled. Throughout the whole of his life, he strove to learn more, to do more and to be better.
