Taos hosts New Mexico conference of counties
More than 700 county officials and employees are in Taos this week for the 81st annual conference of the New Mexico Association of Counties, which began Wednesday (June 21) and continues through Friday (June 23).
Throughout the conference, NMAC affiliate groups will meet to discuss a wide range of issues affecting local government, such as gross receipts tax and federal issues.
