Women’s conference set at LDS Church
The annual women’s conference of the Topeka Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the LDS Stake Center, 2401 S.W. Kingsrow Road.
Keynote speakers will be Hayley Smith, a Latter-day Saint who founded Lifting Hands International, a nonprofit organization that assists Iraqi and Syrian refugees in Europe and Arizona; and Mari Tenny, a member of the LDS Colly Creek Ward in Topeka and lecturer in Spanish at Washburn University.
